Mariposa Fairgrounds is gold-hills-and-oak-tree country, so I built the whole flyer around a painterly sunset valley \u2014 dirt roads, a weathered wagon wheel, a split-rail fence, butterflies drifting through warm amber light. I wanted it to feel like a folk-art postcard from the Sierra foothills, not a generic EDM poster. The mascot \u2014 the rainbow cable &#8220;hair&#8221; rising out of a boxy green speaker-body \u2014 was brand new, and I kept it graphic and flat against that textured landscape on purpose, so it would read as a logo first and an illustration second.
