Northern California I 2022
For 2022 I wanted to bring some heat and color back without giving up the sci-fi framing device I’d built the year before, so I kept the tech-panel border but set it against a burning orange-red sunset sky with a lunar eclipse sequence arcing above the mascot. The crystal pool came back too, now with lily pads and mossy stones, so the overall feeling was “ancient nature ruins wired up with alien technology” — organic and mechanical in the same frame. The eclipse phases became a recurring detail I liked enough to keep exploring.
