Northern California  I  2017-Current

For the first year, I leaned hard into the physical place. Mariposa Fairgrounds is gold-hills-and-oak-tree country, so I built the whole flyer around a painterly sunset valley — dirt roads, a weathered wagon wheel, a split-rail fence, butterflies drifting through warm amber light. I wanted it to feel like a folk-art postcard from the Sierra foothills, not a generic EDM poster. The mascot — the rainbow cable “hair” rising out of a boxy green speaker-body — was brand new, and I kept it graphic and flat against that textured landscape on purpose, so it would read as a logo first and an illustration second. The lineup card even got a literal wood-plank banner for “tickets on sale,” because I wanted every asset to feel hand-built, like something you’d find nailed to a fence post at the fairgrounds.
