Northern California I 2017-Current
In 2024, I circled back to landscape — but reimagined as topographic wireframe mountains glitching against a violet sky, like satellite data rendering the Sierra foothills in real time. I also stripped the color out of the mascot itself, rendering it in brushed chrome and silver instead of the usual full rainbow, which was a deliberate risk: after seven years of rainbow-on-everything, I wanted one year where the logo felt like hardware rather than a light show. The typography followed suit — sharper, more geometric, with a deliberately “glitched” treatment on the stage names, tying the whole thing back to that wireframe, data-driven aesthetic.
I also had the pleasure of designing new merchandise this year, including a subliminal print jersey, reversible bucket hats, and a spinning enamel pin.
